About

1# Is Cultcine an illegal pirate operation?
The section of American copyright law known as “The Berne Act”
clearly states: films unreleased in the United States,
including original version of films altered and/or edited for
release in the United States, are not protected by
American copyright; thus, they are considered public domain.
The entire purpose of our company is to provide
(otherwise unavailable) films to the serious video collector.
We do not offer videos owned by American releasing companies.
If a film should become available domestically,
we immediately stop offering it to our clients.

2# How good are the copies?
That’s what makes us different from everyone else, mostly
all of our titles are Remastered and are Anamorphic Enhanced
for Widescreen Televisions. Some titles are full screen and some
full screen Letterbox, but they are noted on each titles page.
All of our subtitles are also remastered for maximum quality.
No engrish subtitles or subtitles that flash
on and off the screen before you can read them.
We do not sell VHS to DVD transfers like the other guys either,
We sell quality.

There are screen shots on each titles page
so you know exactly what you are getting.
Most of our titles are exclusive to this site and you
will not find them anywhere else.

3# What are DVD5’s or DVDR’s?
A DVD5/DVDR is a single layer DVD that holds 4.5GB of storage.
All of our titles are DVD5.
And all have maximum quality.

Most if not all DVD players can play these discs.
If you are unsure of your player’s compatibility please visit
http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php
for a comprehensive
list of most older DVD players and their model numbers.
We do not do refunds if your player cannot play these.

4# What region code and format are your DVD’s?
NTSC  – Region 0 , which means it’s world regional.
If your player cannot play NTSC that is not our fault.
NTSC is the standard for America, Canada, and throughout parts of Asia.

5# Do all DVD-Rs come in standard DVD cases?
All of our catalog comes with no DVD cases or cover art, that’s what
makes shipping so cheap.
We do have some DVD covers available for printing, you can download them
and print them yourself here.
